I just wanted to share my upgrade experience.
Device: Xiaomi 12 Pro (Zeus)
From: MIUI v14.0.18.0 (stable), TWRP 3.7.0_12 v7.9 A13
To: HyperOS v1.0.2 (stable), TWRP 3.7.0_12 v8.2 A14
Install HyperOS first: Extract xiaomi.eu_multi_ZEUS_OS1.0.2.0.ULBCNXM_os1-14.zip, boot the device into fastboot...
1. You can flash MIUI 14 Stable on MIUI 13 Stable. It doesn't need to wipe the user data. Your data/app is still intact.
2. Banking applications are working fine with MIUI 14. Many mobile applications work well with Android 13.
3. You need to update TWRP to the latest TWRP...
In short, no.
Sorry, since the original china ROM doesn't officially support Google Service, it doesn't pass Google CTS profile validity check.
You need to unlock the bootloader, and flash with xiaomi.eu rom, then Google Pay service will work.
The proximity test through the built-in CIT always shows 5.0 and doesn't register anything at all.
I have the Mi12Pro China model with stock China ROM (and with factory screen protector).
