    MIUI 12.0 20.5.14

At what point should we expect the Redmi Note 9 series phones to appear on this list? Days?, Months?... Ever?

    MIUI 12.0 20.5.7

But somebody obviously believes that it is necessary, otherwise it would not exist, nor have so many subscribers. So the question that should be asked is why? Is there something fundamentally wrong with this forum?

Thought that there was no support here for Redmi Note 8 Pro ?

I couldn't disagree less, however, unfortunately, nobody is listening... or they just don't care.

    MicroSD Max Working Capacity

Well I cannot believe that I am the first person on the planet to ask this question, so I splashed out £60 on a 512Gb Integral Ultima Pro card just to prove a point. As I suspected, it all just works, 512Gb seen by the RN7P and no issues writing to it. In fact, this particular card does...

    MicroSD Max Working Capacity

Ignoring the original phone spec., does the Redmi Note 7 Pro work with microSD cards >256Gb ? I am looking at buying either a SanDisk 400Gb, or a Lexar 512Gb card. Note that I already have a 200Gb SanDisk Ultra in this phone, which works perfectly.

    MIUI 11.2 20.3.26 (Final)

Thanks for the confirmation. I had already tracked my issue down to the Safety Patch Magisk module, which is no longer necessary on this phone. My Magisk passes SatetyNet now.

    MIUI 11.2 20.3.26 (Final)

Actually, I fixed it by removing the Safety Patch module, which used to be required for this phone. Now it is passing SafetyNet OK.

Yes. I know how to configure Magisk thanks! I am only interested to know if anyone else using the same phone with this same ROM was seeing the same SafetyNet issue. If you do not own a RN7P, then please do not respond.

Not within the five minutes that it took me to upgrade the ROM. The ROM is the only variable here.

    MIUI 11.2 20.3.26 (Final)

Successfully flashed 20.4.1 to my RN7P without issue. However, although I could re-install Magisk 20.4 after flashing the ROM, as normal, now Magisk fails BOTH SafetyNet checks. The previous ROM passed both checks. I've never seen this issue with any previous version of this ROM. Luckily I...

Overheating doing what, exactly? Mine stays cool and battery life is as good as ever. Maybe it is some errant app that you have installed, eg. Facebook!

    Works perfectly on my RN7P!

Redmi Note 8 pro EU rom flashing Xiaomi.eu

To what end? There is no support here for this model and there never will be. Unless you want to enter into a potential world of pain, then I strongly suggest sticking with stock. In this way you will still get OTA updates and a path to Android 10. Stock MIUI on this model is actually very...

There is no "individual apps" option for Dark Mode on the Redmi Note 7 Pro. How come?

Xiaomi Support For Redmi Note 9 Pro & Max?

Fair enough, the decision was forced by poor choices made at Xiaomi. They could / should have fixed this situation, but have chosen not to. However, this may result in buyers like me switching brands for future purchases. A bit of an own goal really. On a slight aside, is there a pattern here...

Xiaomi Support For Redmi Note 9 Pro & Max?

Granted, however, no doubt you also "planned" to support the Note 8 Pro?

Xiaomi Support For Redmi Note 9 Pro & Max?

Having been stitched up buying a Redmi Note 8 Pro, I really do not want to make the same mistake again, so this time I am going to ask first and buy later... So, will someone in authority here please confirm whether, or not, the Redmi Note 9 Pro and/or Redmi Note 9 Pro Max, will be properly...
