AFAIK, only two models have the 64Mpix camera...
1) Note 9 Pro Max (Excaliber) - India
2) Note 9 Pro EU (joyeuse) - EU / Global
Yours will be the latter.

Surprised that you have not received 11.0.3 upgrade via OTA. I got mine about a week after first receiving the phone.
In any case I have since "downgraded" to the 11.0.2 Xiaomi.eu stable release, which is a lot "cleaner" than stock.
This particular gesture has always been flaky in MIUI 12, especially on stock. In my experience, however, it seems to improve with each new weekly beta. I don't think that this issue has anything to do with Nova.

Not convinced that there is a compelling reason to go from stock to Xiaomi.eu, until there is TWRP and a beta roadmap. Still, I've got seven days to contemplate this until my phone is unlocked...
The Note 9 Pro Global, as shipped by (Ali) Express, has MIUI v11.0.1.0 (QJZEUXM) pre-installed. Interesting, that although it was advertised as Global, it seems to have a European region ROM. No complaints from me though, as I am in the UK.
All we need now is TWRP and a stream of weekly...
So which thread on XDA covers the joyeuse variant? I cannot find any reference to it.

Now that just adds to the confusion as I thought that the Note 9 Pro Max was the same as the Note 9 Pro Global!
What is the hardware difference between these two models?
Xiaomi didn't do anyone any favours with their schizophrenic naming and then re-naming of the Note 9 / Pro / Pro Max / 9s and Pro Global...
