So in fact you have 2.8.6.0 on you MiNOTE PRO and not 2.8.7.0 i am lost the OTG cable is the 100% tested (xiaomi one) i make a new test with a second USB Key

yes this version works fine for everybody BUT NO OTG this is why i was surprised but keep the 2.8.7.0 of your redmi note 2 on the minote Pro if it works too OTG and PC connection is the best in case of no boot

You are using the TWRP recovery of REDMI Note 2 for MiNote Pro it is new information, and it works i believe you but it is strange , normaly you should use the TRWP recovey dedicated to your phone

but this version 2.8.7.0 is for Redmi NOTE 2 and not for MiNote PRO !!

from which application ?? LEO TWRP 2.8.6.0 is not working with MTP function (OTG or PC) Mi Recovery does not have USB OTG function so from where did you use OTG with USB with MI.COM logo stucking status ??
