So the stable retains older Android versions while many devices in the betas move to Android 10. I presume the stables will eventually match the beta versions?

It means they have temporary issues with it. It happens with all the phones from time to time, not just ginko.

Since everything working just about flawlessly for me, cant see any point in next update. May just wait for the final stable.

I've noticed in MIUI 12/Android 10 that most of app related issues all have to do with permissions. Some apps require multiple permissions and not all are clearly obvious at first glance and need some deeper digging to enable these permissions.

Do you have Magisk installed?

In gallery, unable to move files or albums from internal storage to SD card. In gallery permissions, "access and change files in internal storage" option is greyed out. Is this a bug? Any workaround to this? RN7 Pro (violet)

Havent rooted in a long time since stability issues with Magisk several months ago. Not sure if issues still exist and if they vary from one device to another. I am on RN7 Pro (violet). Are people here having any issues with Magisk or is it more stable now on MIUI 12?

I know that. His phone can still update OTA with official MIUI 12. The relatively new RN8 Pro is eligible for MIUI 12, just has to wait for it through official update.

You can update the official way only (OTA update). Not by flashing roms. Just wait for the official MIUI 12 update to come to your phone.

The devs here cant do anything about bugs. They only convert the Chinese miui 12 beta for global use. You have to contact the Chinese devs @ xiaomi for bugs or issues.
