I totally agree. This version is total BS. No gestures on other lunchers except the stock one, slow, buggy etc etc. Unfortunately I did forget to make twrp backup before flash and decided to stick with this one with the hope for future improvements...

I did face the same problem when I have used SECOND SPACE or DUAL APPS. Try to remove/uninstall the DUAL APPS , reboot, reboot again in TWRP and try the backup again.

Do you have root/magisk? If yes, go to magisk , find magisk hide and hide the root access to this banking app. Also somewhare there was an option to rename the magisk app. Do it .

I have no such problems, but have an suggestion. Delete and recreate the widget again, and after that make the corresponding app locked in memory and not to use the MIUI OPTIMIZED BATTERY profile. If you use other luncher like me, make the same changes to it also.

By the time passed from your post and the lack of responses I guess that's not spread issue. I am personally not experiencing any issue with the proximity sensor. What is the xiaomi test/testing showing?

Have any of you tried to flash the miui10.3.17 fastboot rom/files? And after that to upgrade to v12 check then?

I see. I doubt it that the guys/developers from xiaomi.eu will be able to help you in any way. Firmware stuff is very tricky. I hope for any of you with that issue that xiaomi will fix the issue, because it seems that only they can.

The "problem" with 3th party shops and opening a phone is most of the times the back assembly. One opened, especially glued type phone, then closing it as stock is almost never possible. Yes, there are ways but far from perfect. In the original repair shops, they just replace the needed parts...

If it will be repaired in service/guarantee then ok. If it is going to be repaired in other 3th parity shop DON'T. DON'T OPEN IT. That's true almost for every device. One you open it ....

Use an monitor test program to check is it there during the test. If it is, then 2 options : ether burned pixel or dust during assembly, you just have noticed it now. If it is not present during the test, then it's a software bug of some kind and hope to disappear in the next releases.

Create a new profile on the second phone in the Mi-Home app. On the first phone (the one than you used to setup the device initially) just share the control or use of the desired device to the newly created profile.

Mi 8/128 unit does not have such problems. Just tested it out. Not playing games on the device.
