Okay, so I just loose my app settings (unless I backup and restore) and system data (which is what we want to happen). I can do that ;) And I know that Gapps/Google Play Services are included, but why is the issue fixed when I reflash Google Play Services? I don't do this for the fun of it...

what exactly would that be? I'm not eager to wipe my SD. What I do now is reflash gaps everyday as quick fix. But that is not the solution...

And again.. Google play services are updating... And so all apps with maps in them don't work. I flashed this week's rom but it didn't fix it. How do I resolve this? Please?

Anyone have a clue why my Gallery is messed up? Clearing cache didn't work. If I choose a thumbnail... it glitches and opens another one (a month or so older.) Recent images are fine. But there is a period around februari which is faulty and jumping randomly to different images. Using QuickPic...

Definitely tried several cables, and those work with my other mi4 as well. So cable culprit is doesn't seem likely anymore. Reflash with fastboot rom: I need to Google that but I assume I need a cable for that.

No (MacOS) same commands work on other (same type) phone. It also doesn't allow me to select type of transfer (on the phone itself) when connecting with usb. I always have to use ftp (via wifi) to transfer files :( :: EDIT :: wow even a factory reset (while keeping data on stoarge) doesn't...

Doesn't it take some time to balance battery life? For me, first round after a new update always seems worse, then after a day or so, or improves. I also remember reading that too, somewhere.

Random reboots, a lot! while phone is locked and not even handled. Gallery seems to freeze a lot. I would mind doing a clean install, except for image handling. When moving files (ftp, or cable), dates are screwed. That is particularly annoying for images... Packaging/zip didn't work last time...

Gallery is dead slow, selecting a couple of pictures to delete either freezes the phone or takes forever. Can anyone confirm this too?

I like this idea... not familiar with expose yet, but it said not compatible (mi4) so I stopped installing. Is this correct?
