Updated the MrRaines TWRP with the one advised here, flashed the rom with the latest SuperSu, no issues as of now. Changed the DPI to 380, all works OK. Mi Mix 6/256, dirty flashed.

Mi Mix here, I don't have this issue. BTW, this is a beta FW, why don't you flash the global official and stop whining? Or better yet, get an iPhone, it suits the "Instagram people" way more. You're not going to have a lot of followers with a Xiaomi. XD

Mi Mix, bug in camera: cannot use HDR, results in "can't connect to the camera" error. Also, in Modes, Group Selfie mode causes the camera to crash.

OK, just tried. True. Not that HDR is an everyday function, but hey, it gives an error "Can't connect to the camera"

There, it works. But under Display settings it just replicates what you set in lock screen/sleep. See the attached pic.

Not a "real" problem, just gestures are a little less smooth now. Something I can live with, i don't want to flash last week's rom for so little. Anyway, notifications now work perfectly. Camera has no problems. Even tried the face unlock, and it works, if only the camera wasn't down there...

It actually is Nougat dependent, but developers can include this functionality or not as they wish. I mean, quick reply with whatsapp doesn't work on Marshmallow. :)

That's not the point. The point here is that, for example, when Mi Max was updated to N, the latest release was MM, they waited 2 or 3 weeks, AND THEN upped the N updates here. When I read that Mi Mix/Mi5s/Mi5sP etc were delayed from this release for 2/3 weeks and that 7.5.11 was the last 6.0...
