But I believe you can switch ROMs and relock the bootloader, the only one that can't be done is Chinese, but if on anything other than Chinese you can cross-flash and relock, that would fix wallet and stuff, but if say the bl hasn't been unlocked wallet should work

If it's a global phone with a global ROM it will work out of the box, if you switch regions or unlock the bl that's when it breaks.

Don't think so, as far as I'm aware the eea has less ads, also its for eea regions which has different gdpr regulations, that's all I believe.

I don't think they can't do it, Google have put some difficulties in place, must be delayed until they have a fix then it should be released.

The ROM is software and the bands are hardware, switching obviously wouldn't give you more bands if on china and you flashed the global, the global also has esim where the Chinese doesn't, other than that there is no difference.

The fix is to setup a new account with the location as US. Do this at mi.com on a desktop, link your number then add with your phone and it will bind no problem.

Will probably be because the devices no longer show as certified in the play store, everything works but it won't pass as long as it's uncertified.

Is your device id added to Google? My wallet wasn't working. The device still shows uncertified but everything now works. Download device ID form the play store.developer is Evozi. Open the app and hold Google services framework. Will bring up another menu to copy, don't do this instead click...

My 13 Pro doesn't show as certified in the play store, also can't get OK Google working with voice activation. Any help or advice would be welcome.
