    Because you have hidden extension types. Very likely you have .img.img on the end.

    If it flashed fine, then it's correct. Try to install Magisk APK on phone and check if it's installed.

    No, I did it out of habit. You can use flash boot, as I did, but it will flash Magisk only to an active partition.

    If it works fine, you can use it as well. No, you can keep TWRP. I've removed TWRP flashing part because officially it's deprecated: https://topjohnwu.github.io/Magisk/install.html#custom-recovery. Check and let us know.
