You don't want the tegra 4 version. It only gets 3g in China because it used TD scdma. You want the snapdragon version because it has 3g on wcdma.

Anyone know how much weight is added with the 3100 mah battery? And how much extra battery life do you get vs the stock battery. I ordered one for my self a few days ago.

I was kind of worried about using a Chinese phone at first but I've had my mi2 about a week and really like it. The build quality is nice and the phone works great without issue. I plan on getting a mi3 in a few months when there available.

Most of the Roms are almost all the same there's really not much of a difference. Only thing miui android Roms have different is multi lang if you need that. Ota only work on officially supported devices.

You need 850 and 1900 wcdma bands for att in the us. I'm using them now on my mi2. T-Mobile uses 1700 and 2100 bands but has started rolling out 1900 MHz in a few places. So if you don't have 1900 MHz you'll be stuck on slow edge. Works perfect on att for me though.

The price won't really drop much because the resellers have already bought them and mark them up to make money. If you want one I'd say go ahead and buy one now.
