same here it seems, but gonna see overnight whether it's due to older google play services or not..since just reset and reflashed and just updated play services..

apparently some doesn't even read on the changelogs and the steps needed to flash the rom..even got some people asking need to unlock bl or not..

all fingerprints removed it seems...just re-add them.

maybe those redmi note 3 pro that bricked probably used unofficial unlock bootloader method?

What I did earlier. - Flashed the 6.9.9 hm3notepro using alka twrp, flashed supersu, wiped dalvik cache..reboot. - And just now used fastboot to see if it indeed relock bootloader, and yeah it does re-lock..so used mi unlock to re-unlock the bootloader officially.

also I just noticed. flashed the redmi note 3 pro mm build will re-lock the bootloader...use alka twrp to flash.. then reunlock it using mi unlock tool

mine both are fine. although now after reboot..screen is blank, need to guess my pattern then screen will lit up..

i think due to android mm..used cm 13 before they also asked for pin. my redmi note 3 pro also works fine after flash..just first boot took longer bit tho

I used alka twrp to flash over 5.1 miui eu rom. so far stable, doze works fine, supersu and quite smooth... just fingerprint removed at first boot..readded and it works fine and fingerprint unlocks quite fast. supersu, tried xposed also works fine here...probably those who use goodix fp might...
