The Redmi K40/Poco F3 has Dolby Atmos, I'm unsure if it's an app or a audio chip. If it's an app, any chance we're going to see Dolby Atmos ported to all Xiaomi EU roms in the future?

I want to save a bit a money and don't care about 3K resolution on phones (just uses more power and GPU for gaming), plus I prefer flat screens. I'll be waiting for the Redmi K40 Pro likely to be released as Poco F3 Pro globally. I just hope the Redmi K40 Pro gets a good camera this time...

Great find! This has reassured my faith in Mediatek chips because there's going to plenty of them on Redmi phones in 2020. Just hope Xiaomi.EU re-considers Mediatek support with their custom roms. If not, looks like any upcoming Xiaomi phones with new MT6885Z chip won't be supported either...

I would re-consider buying this device if Xiaomi EU re-supports this device.
