They should create a Mi2A forum, since ROMs are not compatible with Mi2/S. I hope that no one tries to flash this into a wrong model xD

I don't personally care for Hebrew, but that's good news for some people around here. I've looked both in XDA and Play Store for stuff to disable the sensor, no luck until now. Is it possible to just use the MIUI dialer App with CM10.2 (or the QDT14 one since that seems to work too)?

Hebrew should appear as עִבְרִית. Code should be either iw_IL (older, probably deprecated) or he_IL. I need that option because either my screen protector blocks the sensor (stupid, I know) or it's jammed, and as I don't use it anyway I wish I could just disable it. As I seemingly can't...

Nope, it's the same as the Mi2 (APQ8064). The Mi2s one isn't much different anyway (higher clocks and LPDDR3 support from what I gathered on a quick glance).

Yup, wipe cache always after flashing, I don't think a pre-wipe is needed ;). I'm glad it worked for you.

Not trying to put any kind of pressure, was just expressing my feelings ;). Been using this one as everyday's ROM. I use Greenify App and it seems to be working well, not sure if it's really needed to integrate it.

Haven't had any FC with this ROM, so the issue is probably at your end. Often reflashing and clearing caches solves that kind of issue. I'm also awaiting for the next version, it's been 2 weeks already :p

OS kernel still bugged and not 100% functional, so while not as ideal as Xiaomi opening its kernel sources, closed kernel updates are still meaningful.

The SoC is a MTK6577 as well. Also I'm sure it doesn't have the proximity and light sensors if you inspect it closely. It is a fake, return it as soon as possible without thinking.

There are no ROMs for Mi2 / Mi2S compatible with the Mi2A, but the forum name and the thread title should be enough to tell you that.

Non-related, but does anyone know how to disable the proximity sensor for calls (or just disable it altogether) in Stock / CM ROMs ? MIUI Dialer app has an option to disable it, but CM one doesn't seem to have it. I figure just swapping the system apps won't work, so...
