Hi, Yes - wlan assistant and wlan speed mode are both disabled. I've reverted back to 9.3.14 since this is my daily driver so I can't check those settings in developer settings but thanks for pointing them out. :) Maybe someone else can give it a try ?

Issue: When leaving/loosing wifi connection - like when moving out of wifi range - and the device should switch to mobile data connection specific apps will sometimes get internet access. 4g connection is fine, internet access generally is fine but specific apps like whatsapp, google maps etc...

Yeah this Rom is pretty much unuseable currently.....you never know if an app is suddenly offline and only start wondering when people tell they couldn't reach you through for example whatsapp. This morning it was google maps so no traffic information until I toggled flight mode. Back to 9.4.13...

Its happening for a lot of people including my Mi 8. Mostly when moving out of wifi range and it switches to mobile data or when you loose mobile data receiption for some reaseon. THEN random apps will loose internet access...that specific app won't get access to the internet until you toggle...

Yeah stock miui has a different default setting that also works in China. We don't have td-scdma in the west

That's the same toggle as preferred network type in miui sim settings. Lte/umts auto (prl) = lte /wcdma /gms in miui sim settings That's what my mi 8 was set to

Odd, still working for me after 3 days.

Enabling/disabling flight mode is probably easier and has the same effect. No idea why it's happening but I'm also getting that on my mi 8 occasionally. I guess radio/modem Fw is rather buggy. See also the massive cell standby drain whiles connected to wifi.

Nothing like that happened on my mi 8. Only 10 apps with autostart permission, all manually enabled.

No issues after 18 hours runtime , still working. Might be fixed?
