Any mod? Dual speaker mod? Google Cam installed? Maybe a setting is causing that... I use ambient display, animation when notification comes (the last one with blue dots), auto brightness, fingerprint as unlock method, the default theme... Difficult to say what it can be.... Envoyé de mon MI 9...

It's not the same display technology... AMOLED display will power on only the used pixels, all black pixels are off,battery consumption is very low. On a LCD screen to display the same, the whole screen must be ON all the time, it's not possible otherwise the battery would last only a few...
