It's funny cause i was about to make the same suggestion as @phani , a seperate kernel for EXT4 based roms.There are some cool features on some roms worth trying at least without having to use F2FS.Put me on the beta testers list if you consider building one ;)

I think there is a bug in carbon rom, menu back and volume buttons not working.Sorry i didn't get logs, the only thing in common in both installations was that i removed the chinese apps.Restart, wipe data/factory reset, wipe cache/dalvic cache didn't solve the problem.

Of course we don't expect a lifetime support, that would be crazy.Nexus got a lot of updates as always in those 2 years and that's why people buy nexus devices.But every serious company gives a major update at least at mid and high end devices, i can give you a lot of examples but i'm sure...

Even my humble Xperia mini got ICS, even though was heavy for such a low spec phone.It is phenomenal a powerful phone like mi2s didn't even get a serious update, at least 4.3! Yes of course we can live with 4.1 but is that how you treat people that put trust on a company that wasn't so popular...

It's not the same at all.If you compare the files with a diff tool you'll see that CM's file is almost double in terms of code.There is a lot info missing from files above compared to stock CM's.I'll try to make one for CM later if i have time.
