After you flash the fastboot ROM you MUST factory reset your phone, don't ask me why that's how it is. Then everything will work as expected. And if some apps refuses to load or immediately close, it's due to permission issues, MIUI 13 based on China ROM is very paranoic about apps accessing...

Alright so how do we prevent this annoying bug from happening? I get duplicated app icons on my mi 11 running the latest MIUI.eu 13. Not only that but some icons will disappear (like the settings app is nowhere to be found)and my home screen gets messed up every time I reboot the phone.

yes ive been noticing this behavior too, i change the notification sound and after a reboot it plays the default MIUI tone. Before anyone points any fingers, i did flash xiaomi.eu and then factory reseted the phone before start using it.
