I know you already ordered, i only want to make a suggestion... That you buy from certified Xiaomi resellers like http://xiaomishop.com and http://xiaomiworld.com

I think Mi4 is pretty good at dissipating heat while using CPU and GPU intensive applications. Definitely better than my 2 year old Nexus 4.

Glad to see you got a replacement, anyone with a new Mi4 that spots a hardware issue like this should contact the seller where they bought it from straight away. It's a definite fault.

Someone with a mi4 had a similar issues recently, except they killed their phone by running the battery completely flat.
I'd say try hooking it up to USB port of your laptop and leave it for a day or two. It should turn on after.

Try oppomart, xiaomishop and xiaomiworld. I bought mine from xiaomishop and couldn't be happier, they are the only ones who ship from an EU warehouse.
It's not real, if it was there would be stock showing at Xiaomi resellers.

No, it's disgusting to see people whine about updates when they get the rom for free and the dev has to spend precious time porting it.

True, 3G coverage will still grow in cities where it's scarce.
Also, bear in mind that 800mhz LTE frequency is the slowest LTE so it might not even be included in Mi4 4G version.

Hmm I've had my mi4 for about 4 days now and not had that issue on both MIUI v5 and v6.
It could be solved by a clean flash of v6 maybe, however I still think you should inform the place where you purchased it from and get it replaced.

Hmm that's strange, sounds like you might have to do a factory reset and flash the EU version of MIUI then select German.
