As someone whose job is a lead for a video game, It's an unfortunate truth that the biggest quality analysis testing you ever get is The public I don't know the ins and outs of what this ROM testing team does or even if it exists as something other than the devs but They would be volunteers...

Officially maybe (doubt it) but I think you need to come to terms with this being a multiple years old device With sensible use you might be safe but I doubt it's getting security updates even in official channels
