Is encryption working on this rom, I'm trying to encrypt a 32g mi2s and it just goes to the cog Android. After leaving it there overnight, if I press back, unlock screen I can the page where it says do I want to encrypt. Which I assume means, it's not encrypted

I was trying to encrypt from cm11 which I installed after the wipe using Cwm I'm not sure a plain wipe actually removes any personal data after reading various articles to that effect online

I just get the broken Android robot, I thought it was rebooting but it was just the screen lock. Tdb is off. Maybe I should use the xiaomi brush tool then install cm again

Thanks, I have put cm11 on and have started encryption (had wiui jb on before) How many times approx does the password have to be put in? It's been 12 so far!

Any tips on the best and most secure way to wipe the phone and all data thereon prior to selling please? I'm keeping my mi2 but am my partners mi2s in due course....

I didn't say they were bad based on personal experience, have a look on here for people with first hand experience of them that's not good. It's made me decide not to give them any more of *my * money that's all.

I've always had WiFi problems with my mi2,I never really proper fixed it (still using mi2 now). I am not entirely sure, it's not the router to blame despite no other phone having any problems...
