For miui this early on KK the rom is pretty neat =) battery time is awesome! only problem i'm having is that my calander doesnt sync with google. did anyone find a solution for that?

Even Cyanogen said they won't be touching this yet is its still prone to changes and uncomplete. So hold your horses, wait till google does the final push and CM starts working on it.

Yep, you'll recieve a notification to download the OTA. Its super slow since it has to go through xiaomi servers (just like the official), so doing it manual is faster. But it DOES work.

Don't think so, But the latest weekly is super stable so i'd just roll with that. (or take the weekly multilanguage) Just make sure you take a JB one as KK is relatively new thus has problems.

For me the only advantage of the Mi2A would be NFC. I own a Mi2s which i like a lot because of it's size. However i am very impressed with the normal hongmi, and now with the upgraded hongmi 1s i'd definately go for this phone. With dual sim and the possibility of micro-sd use it is definiately...

yea i noted this aswell, and i think it is because of the new security app closes all programs after 5 minutes of inactivity. this results in programs reloading everytime you use your phone instead of staying locked in memmory. -> resulting in more battery use. so i turned of that feature =)

go to the security app, there should be something like permissions, enable root.

Simyo does not have its own network, but uses the Orange network. Because of this you will allways be 'roaming' hence your phone shows Orange in screen. Just enable local roaming and you'll be fine. this is default android behaviour btw :P working as intended :)

isnt the latest gapps for android 4.3? miui is still on 4.1.1 so they wont work.
