Reinstalled Bricked Phone: But Network Issues

You said you lost your IMEI when flashing a ROM. So there must be something messed up in your QCN. Maybe you can fix this by flashing a working QCN from another device. Please note that you'll have to set your IMEIs again after flashing.

Very Basic Question- Redmi 3s Prime Not Working Properly In London

You will have to unlock your bootloader. Before that, you'll have to upgrade to the most recent official ROM. Download global stable ROM V8.1.1.0.MALMIDI (MIUI8) from http://en.miui.com/download-303.html to the root of your internal storage. Run Updater, tap the three dots in the upper right...

Request: Make Changes To Preferred_network_mode Permanent

Changing the preferred network type in engineering mode always reverts back to default on reboot. This is annoying as many connectivity issues (slow data connection, disconnected phone calls) are fixed when "LTE/GSM auto (PRL)" is selected. Is it possible to make these settings permanent? I work...

Redmi 3s All Day At Edge/gprs

OK, I definitely do not have this issue. I took out SIM2 and put the phone into the microwave oven to shield it against network signal. Network signal dropped as expected. I took out the phone and it connected immediately, at first at EDGE speed. After some seconds it switched automatically to...

Redmi 3s All Day At Edge/gprs

Guys, this is xiaomi.eu forum, so why do you babble about any other ROM's issues? I'm not more idiot than you. And who says I have a dummy SIM card in slot2? This is an active SIM as I use my phone for private and business. My solution? EDL flash official global stable, install TWRP and flash...

Redmi 3s All Day At Edge/gprs

What would this prove? If it is a software issue, you can easily reproduce it by taking any device (even brand-new), flash the software, let the error occur and vice versa. If this isn't possible, then it's a random issue which can be caused by numerous causes. If have two R3S, mine always...

Redmi 3s All Day At Edge/gprs

I have the official international R3S and flashed every stable xiaomi.eu ROM just when it was released and never had any issues with 4G. So it can't be a software issue. Otherwise every user would complain about it. Conclusion: your device is broken your carrier changed something you messed up...

It's not only the needed bands. The chinese version is locked down to only work with chinese carriers (in order to support censorship by chinese government).

Redmi 3s All Day At Edge/gprs

I can confirm what @masterross said: I have two R3S 2016031 and two brand-new SIMs and LTE works without any problems (Telefonica Germany).

Redmi 3s All Day At Edge/gprs

@vENZi Are you sure that your sim card is activated for LTE and you're in a LTE covered area? If you're in the EU you'll need a R3S part # 2016031 (which supports band 20 at 800MHz). Additionally some carriers (e.g. T-Mobile in Germany) require a software-branded device to use VoLTE.

Strange Problem: Voice Calls In Lte Network

Hi, I encountered a strange problem and I don't know if my R3S or the provider is the cause. I'm on Telefonica network in Germany permitted to use LTE. In certain network cells (here: in a larger city) when my R3S is connected to LTE network i'm not able to receive voice calls (Telefonica...
