    It is temporary and intermitent for me. I read that it's a LGD/LGE model display problem, maybe only for the 32GB model that seems to use it. I also have little yellow spot near the vol- button...Both problems are supposed to be solved by replacing the display, preferably with a JDI model.

    Default sim for internet=the one that has 4G and data. The other one is 3/2G only and has no data enabled. Data can be disabled completly from the fast toggle in notification area or from settings.

    Try through TWRP. Be prepared to do a full fastboot flash if it doesn't work... The old 8.1.x.0 ROMs are great for battery life and GPS, so it might be a great choice. The new 9.5.x.0 are almost as good and have more features though...

    You cand find bothe the last weekly and last stable in ROM DOWNLOAD section. It should appear in updater too. My phone auto updated to 9.5.1.0 quite a while ago.

    I have done ota update without wiping anything and have absolutely no problems. Battery seems the same, if not better than other MIUI9 I had. Just had to root again as usual.

    Mi mi5 has pretty much as good signal strength as my other phones. Measured in actual download speed, not number of signal bars. Of course, when close to the router, it's the fastest because it's got 5ghz Aa.
