That's because sMIUI have changes to use only SuperSU as root access app. No longer MIUI can grant it. That's why SuperSU is installed by default on sMIUI roms. Mark me if I am wrong :-P Xiaomi Mi2S with sMIUI

If you use other keyboard and will not be using Google Keyboard then you should go to All Apps and disable Google Keyboard. Short way: Press recent apps button / hold X and go to All (setting on the most left) Xiaomi Mi2S with sMIUI

If widget have problems with refreshing you should try to remove it and add again. Don't forget to lock app, disable or set as it should battery saving setting and add it to autostart. But I am sure you have not forget about that. That's note for others :-P Xiaomi Mi2S with sMIUI
