MIUI 14 MIUI 14 STABLE RELEASE

Poco F3 Alioth with xiaomi.eu_multi_HMK40_POCOF3_V14.0.4.0.TKHCNXM_v14-13 installed with TWRP from MIUI 13 in a dirty way. Everything still works as expected and I do not have all these problems which other users report here. Of course there are some strange contrast things in dark mode, e.g...

MIUI 14 MIUI 14 STABLE RELEASE

Poco F3 Alioth - Nothing to complain. Only wanted to mention that I never before had this amazing battery life. No ideas what happened but obviously you or/and Xiaomi did their jobs very well - OR the 50% usage in over 30 hours is just fake and the device will shutdown soon ;)

Hi There, THANKS for the update for our POCO F3 First I updated to twrp-3.7.0_12-v7.2_A12-alioth-skkk.img and was a little irritated because then after the SystemUpgrade-procedure there was an Error "can't mount *something* system_ext4" (or so) for three partitions. So I rebooted to TWRP again...

ah okay, thanks and it's done perfect! After booting TWRP and seeing the data partition is actually decrypted I didn't read on in your tutorial... because I knew there are thousands of explanations to change TWRP language in www. Its only two words in a search engine to find them...

At least with the poco F3 there were no problems doing it this way.

MIUI 13 MIUI 13 STABLE RELEASE

Probably Xiaomi's fault on Poco F3, nevertheless I do mention it here: the magnification is actually not usable since upgrade to Android 12 due to a lagging, long delay following the finger.

New [bugs] GPS problem MIUI 13.0.3.0 on Poco F3 / K40 (alioth)

Thanks for the hint. I didn't have that problem but turning off Google's location services is probably good for battery life and also privacy.

If you wanna be safe, you could switch from "GoogleAuth" to "andOTP" available in f-droid. There you export and reimport backups for all your OTP accounts at once. (sorry, little offtopic). Just in case something goes wrong.

I doubt that. You can try but probably end up in bootloop. You will have to format the data partition.

For me also works 'normal' CMD but you have to open it as Administrator. And keep in mind that syntactical characters (slashes, space, brackets etc.) are still problematic used in path- and filenames! I just upgraded my Poco F3/Alioth from MIUI12/A11 to MIUI13/A12 and have to mention: When I...

MIUI 12.0 MIUI 12 STABLE RELEASE

I think you have to use another TWRP (link below). As far as I remember something changed with the encryption about a year ago. And yes you will have to format Data, not just wipe. https://xiaomi.eu/community/threads/issue.59667/post-587936
