I use Nova and you need to launch HyperOS/MIUI launcher FIRST, go into Recents, then set your default back to your third-party. This needs to be redone EVERY reboot. Probably the only way to get compatibility to work for now.

Next you'll have to boot your phone if only the right fingerprint is read :D

One time I had done yeah, but I reflashed and set no screen lock and it worked fine.

Try a reflash. Or flash previous version again, then new version
