Hi, since mid December my daily backup is not working and in addition I have no access to last backup. This is not only a problem for my MI MIX 2, same issue with my Redmi Note 4. I have enough space (24 GB used from 40 GB), additional space is valid until July 2018. Can anyone help me?

You can only solve this issue with full wipe and clean new install. Then install all your Apps again. That sucks but I am afraid there is no other way to get the widgets back. Apparantly no one has an expalanation why some phones have this issue and others not. I tried it and it works.

I know that. But the problem was known since last update and nothing happend. Plus: the problem can only be solved in installing stock rom via fastboot and then installing this one again. Means hours of installing and manual setting of apps. My fear is that this might happen again and I am not...

What a mess. I really have other things to do than to loose all data and spend hours with new installing rom, apps and all my manual permissions. That's the end for me with MIUI. As said before, going to Lineage 14.1 now
