I have the same phone and experienced the same. I turned off automatic updates in Playstore. That makes a huge difference. I do not know why but battery life is much better now.

I upgraded from weekly 8.4.26, that is miui 9.6 straight to weekly 8.7.12 MIUI 10. No problem with that.

Just installed the latest version (180412) on my Xiaomi Redmi Note 4x. At the moment I looked to the updater, I got the question wether 'Updater' was allowed to access photo's and such, I said ''no'. Now I cannot access Updater anymore. Is there a way to repair this? Many thanks. Jos

In the latest version 80322 Danish had been added.

I mistakenly installed the global ROM. If you want to, download it and save it on your phone. Thema tell your updater to use the selected file. Going back to the eu-version (available in Dutch) just the same.
