I know this is not a Xiaomi.eu issue, but rather a official xiaomi bug and we must wait for a fix from them, but... This is getting so annoying, it's been like that since the first beta and it is not fixed even in the stable. Xiaomi really needs to get things together.

I don't think thats a ROM problem. I think that is a problem with your carrier. As some carriers supports this activation method and some don't. I got 2 SIMs from different carriers and one activates just fine and the other one does not.

Why would you allow that in the first place? I also have NuBank, just set the app to not auto-start and the location to using the app. Nothing bad happens as they get the location from the seller and not from your phone. Unless you travel a lot and NuBank actually uses your location to identify...
