So I'm attempting to update an app manually by APK (installed through google play) as the dev shared a fixed apk with me. But I'm unable to install it due to this: Is there any reason why it won't let me update? Running on HyperOS weekly 1.0.24.7.28.dev (Poco F5 Pro) Help is appreciated!

How is the battery life with HyperOS? Ever since I upgraded mine (on Redmi K60) from 14 to HyperOS. I barely get a full day with the phone. Never had this issue with 13.

Running "windows_fastboot_update_rom.bat" now btw. 1 FAILED came up: Writing storsecbak failed no such partition. And it's currently stuck at Sending sparse super 5/8.

No one told me to unzip the file either and use the files included ;). Sorry, this fastboot mode is new to me. So after looking for fastboot flash, I came across miflash. But I see how it works now. I really appreciate the replies.

I'm using the latest Mi Flash software, but there are no bat files included. (MiFlash20210226).

Why would I "try" it? I'd rather not to erase the device and reset it to factory just to see if it does. I'm asking if the Miflash software keeps the storage when flashing it or resets it by default (if there's an option to keep data).

Still curious if fastboot flash would actually erase the entire device storage using the miflash. ^^

Ah, that explains a lot. Ya, I did notice it. But I usually install it through twrp, so I assumed it was still the same. twrp is no longer used in future updates?

Thanks! I've just attempt to install "WEEKLY 21.12.10 HMK30Pro", but I'm getting a LOT of "failed to mount xxx to loop device /dev/block/loopX" errors when flashing. I've installed Weekly's before (currently on 21.09), so why is it failing now?

Any alternative links? Both d/l links are telling download takes 3 to 28 days.

You are absolutely right, my apologies. I'm using the Poco F2 pro, aka Redmi K30 Pro. As for the magisk, I haven't looked into that yet version wise as the device is still locked. ^_^
