i did this and it works but when i want to flash a new rom TRWP doesn't allow me to mount the SD Card so i cannot flash anything... I delete my ROM and cannot flash a new one! help is much appreciated!

I've currently got JHCNAL5.0 although I've seen JHACNBA15.0 (http://xiaomi.eu/community/threads/4-6-6.24524/) and JHACNBA13.0 (http://en.miui.com/download-82.html). What is the difference between them? I assume they are all using Android version 4.2.2 so are the MIUI features much different?

Ok so I replaced the vold.fstab file in system/etc, i then changed permissions although nothing happened... i tried to change the vold.fstab file but when i edit the text and try to save i root brwoser gives me an error "an error occured when trying to save"

how exactly do i copy the vold.fstab in system /etc, I can't find it via the removable disk when it's plugged in via usb.. Also how are the permissions set to the rw-r--r-- file?

one thing i do remember doing is full wipe BEFORE flashing the new recovery after rooting, could this of messed up the partition tables? i also noticed there is no serial number on the box to enter the code on xiaomi website :/

Hi, yes i have the TD version. I didn't try any new ROMs yet, i rooted, and tried to flash the new recovery and that's how this all started. I didn't use spflashtool yet, is my phone fake or?

just ran the antutu benchmark test(downloaded from the MIUI marketplace) i got 16809

i downloaded CPU-Z from the MIUI marketplace

the hardware shows: mt6582 desnsity: 320dpi i guess it's fake as the hardware is different?
