I also get this error on my Poco X5 Pro, it happened with MIUI 14 and continues after updating to HyperOS, I have the Google Photos app installed. The backup only works from Google Photos.

Try disabling Google Assistant or Vault from the home screen. Try accessing android widgets again. It worked for me.
