Mi9 Not able to install any roms

Look for XDA "tool all in one" , then download a suitable fastboot rom and install with that tool. The same tool will flash a recovery if needed, and after that you can again install any rom you like.

Help, ODD bootloop after making backup by TWRP (PitchBlack)

Good to hear that the problem has been recognised, I recommend to use that tool anyway, it's far more handy than anything else. It's a multi talent. Good luck !

    Which twrp version

Try this tool, it worked fine for me. First flash a suitable fastboot rom, and after that, you flash TWRP with the same tool. https://forum.xda-developers.com/Mi-9/development/tool-tool-one-driversunlocktwrpfactory-t3943805

Help, ODD bootloop after making backup by TWRP (PitchBlack)

Try this tool, it worked for me when nothing else did. You can flash a fastboot rom first, and with the same tool you can flash your custom recovery (TWRP or whatever). I can't give you a link for the rom as I have a different phone. But your data will be lost, they are probably gone already...

    Attention! Mi9 hard bricked!

Also, try and see if you can reboot the phone into fastboot mode. If yes, then it's not hard-bricked.

    Attention! Mi9 hard bricked!

Just make sure it's well charged, and of course you should have downloaded the tool, it might recognise the phone even if the computer does not.

    Attention! Mi9 hard bricked!

I had the same issue but you made a few mistakes. I downloaded the Tool ALL IN ONE: https://forum.xda-developers.com/Mi-9/development/tool-tool-one-driversunlocktwrpfactory-t3943805 and then got the correct FASTBOOT ROM. You need to google for a matching rom. I used an older one to avoid bugs...

    MIUI 11.1 9.10.31

This update shredded my Mi9, I tried twice with the same result, used the system updater. Got stuck in a bootloop, all data were deleted. Had to install a fastboot rom, re-install TWRP and revert back to 9.10.24.

I wish the battery redesign could be reverted. The old one was more pretty.

    MIUI 11.1 9.10.17

Works nicely for my Mi 9 and it's fast. I just don't like the new battery icon. Is there a way to revert to the old one ? Thx !

    MIUI 10 9.8.8/9/10/12

This update disabled or removed TWRP from my phone. I reflashed TWRP, it's booting up, but I cannot install any firmware anymore. I end up getting something like "error, this firmware is for Cepheus". I'm really confused now, my phone is the Mi9 Cepheus. I also cannot flash through fastboot with...
