Turn off voice match, turn it on, reboot. It worked for me.

I had to take that decision too, for me it was mix 2s for a better design or mi8 for a better front camera. In the end I bought mix 2s, but both are really good devices. I don't have both devices btw.

I usually download the ROM here and flash it with TWRP and after that magisk. But if you aren't going to flash other files you can update it with the updater. I suppose you have TWRP and know how to use it. Dirty flash doesn't delete your data

Mi mix 2s based in pie, same errors al global with notifications, didn't test too much, dirty flash to downgrade to previous build impossible, always bootloop so I have to clean install from 0. I´ll stay in oreo. Thanks anyway for your effort, but I think stable should stay in oreo at this moment.

The problem is the TWRP you are using, it doesn't work with Pie based ROMS. I'm using the v10 recovery from xda developers. https://forum.xda-developers.com/xiaomi-mi-mix-2s/development/recovery-twrp-mix-2s-t3790922 A full wipe is necessary, do a back up.

It happened to me with my old mi max. Now I'm in latest stable and it works in my mi mix 2s. VW touran 2018

Try installing TWRP and ROM with fastboot, there are a lot of tutorials in YouTube.

Does Android Auto works for you? My phone connects and start working but after a few moments black screen and disconnect. I have given all permissions to app and permit it being open without restrictions in battery settings. I'm talking about working in my car (VW Touran), in the phone works fine.

Search in XDA unofficial TWRP V10. you will have to do a full wipe. I think march TWRP from the post above doesn't work in pie, not even in Oreo.

Do you have an old ROM in the device? Try to flash it. Don't know anything more to do if you can't copy files in your phone. Everybody advised format data was necessary. I assume you have a mi 8 or mi mix 2s
