Total nonsense. A friend of mine registered a new account because he never had a xiaomi phone and he got the code in 2 hours.

Well it always depends on your use, I could get 9-14 hours of OST, depending on usage. Right now im on ResurrectionRemix and battery life is a little worse.

Try different ports, cables etc... Make sure to hive driver signature enforcement disabled. What does device manager detect?

If you flash via EDL I dont think it verifies the authenticity of the images.

Yes, usually flashing ROMs will void your warranty. However usually honorbuy/gearbest ship their xiaomi devices with a custom/shop rom mostly made out of Xiaomi.eu rom flashed via EDL. So the only thing you have to do if you want to ship back your device for warranty repairs is flashing...

Its curious at least, but I dont think it is Xiaomi flashing the ROMs since they would have released them as they do with all their roms, and to todays date there is no global rom available, and that move doesnt make much sense to me, why not release the global rom then and update it?
