I also had the same problem on HOS1, but disabling SIM 1 somehow had it see the EID. HOS2 may be different of course.

I confirm HOS 1 eSIMs working well with a combination of: - xiaomi.eu_GARNET_OS1.0.16.0.UNRCNXM_14.zip - Europe 1.0.22.0 modem (software reports "MPSS.DE.3.1.1Nov 14 2024-09:00:04")

In HOS 1, I had to disable SIM1 before trying to install my eSIM, but no further problems after that, even when switching esims, or disabling eSIM entirely. Let us know if that works on HOS 2.

modem.img can easily be pulled from miui_GARNETGlobal_OS1.0.14.0 zip(.zip, not .tgz)
